Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of No Accounting (the "Service") provided by No Accounting (Sole Proprietor) ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

No Accounting is a SaaS application that helps you organize money by project. You drop invoices and receipts into Google Drive, our AI extracts the data, and your dashboards update automatically. The Service is provided on a subscription or free-tier basis as described on our pricing page.

2. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate the rights of others.
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that contains malware.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service.
  • Use the Service to send spam or other unsolicited communications.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you submit and the decisions you make based on it.
  • The Service is a tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
  • You are responsible for keeping your own backup of important records.
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax and accounting regulations.

5. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload or generate using the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google Drive and Google Gemini. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms (Google Terms of Service, Google API Services User Data Policy). We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by No Accounting (Sole Proprietor) and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission.

8. Subscriptions, Fees & Cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle you select (monthly or annual).
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, security, or to comply with legal obligations. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or disruption caused by third-party providers (Google, Supabase, Lovable Cloud, etc.).

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way that we determine creates risk to us, our users, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing hello@noaccounting.app.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-EXTRACTED DATA. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, nor that AI extraction will be 100% accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NO ACCOUNTING (SOLE PROPRIETOR) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless No Accounting (Sole Proprietor) from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which No Accounting (Sole Proprietor) is established, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
